The index gained 1,781.94 points, or 1.86%, compared to the previous session’s close of 95,546.45 points.

Aggressive buying in the fertilizer sector, notably in Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited (FFBL), further bolstered market performance.
The KSE-100 index reached an intraday high of 97,437 points, reflecting heightened activity across the market. Out of 457 active scrips, 249 recorded gains, 167 saw declines, and 41 remained unchanged.
