Islamabad, November 25,2024- The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) convoy, led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Bushra Bibi, has reached the Islamabad Toll Plaza after traveling from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The convoy crossed into the Rawalpindi-Islamabad limits, with Ali Amin Gandapur stepping out of his vehicle to cross the toll plaza on foot.
Earlier, Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, addressed the participants before the convoy’s departure. She urged supporters to remain steadfast, stating, “We will not end this march until Khan is with us. Even if no one supports me, I will stand until my last breath. This is not just about my husband but about the leader of this nation.” She expressed confidence in the Pashtun people’s resilience, saying they do not abandon their cause until the final battle.
PTI leaders clarified that Ali Amin Gandapur was leading the convoy, while Bushra Bibi followed closely in another vehicle.
The PTI protest, now in its second day, has caused significant disruptions, with routes connecting Islamabad and Rawalpindi remaining blocked. The convoy began its journey from Hazara Interchange via the M-1 Motorway, drawing attention to its large-scale participation.
As the protest continues, Islamabad braces for further demonstrations, with PTI leaders calling for perseverance and unity among supporters.
