Rawalpindi, April 26, 2025: Security forces killed 15 Khwarij terrorists in three separate engagements across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province on April 25 and 26, according to an official statement.

An intelligence-based operation in Karak District led to the elimination of eight Khwarij, as security personnel effectively engaged the militants’ hideout.

In a separate operation in North Waziristan District, four Khwarij were neutralized during an intense exchange of fire. However, two brave soldiers — Lance Naik Usman Mohmand (28, resident of Charsadda) and Sepoy Imran Khan (26, resident of Kurram) — fought gallantly and embraced shahadat in the line of duty.

Meanwhile, in the general area of Gomal Zam, South Waziristan District, security forces successfully killed three more Khwarij in an encounter.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, who were involved in multiple terrorist activities across the region.

Following the operations, sanitization efforts are underway to clear any remaining threats. The security forces of Pakistan remain resolute in their mission to eradicate terrorism, with the sacrifices of their brave soldiers further strengthening national determination.
