Islamabad, May 6, 2025: Pakistani intelligence has uncovered and thwarted a major terror plot allegedly orchestrated by India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) to destabilize Balochistan, credible security sources revealed on Tuesday.
According to officials, RAW has activated a network of proxies—including the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), splinter groups of the banned Khwarij network, and unauthorized Afghan operatives—to carry out coordinated attacks in key regions such as Gwadar, Quetta, and Khuzdar. These plans reportedly followed the failure of a recent false flag operation in Pahalgam.
Intelligence reports suggest that RAW has deployed suicide bombers and trained militants from Afghanistan into Pakistani territory, with instructions to use vehicles and motorcycles for potential strikes.
Security agencies further indicated that the Indian-backed strategy involves coordination among several hostile factions already present in border areas, aiming to incite unrest and destabilize Pakistan’s internal security landscape.
In response, Pakistan’s law enforcement and intelligence bodies have launched preemptive counter-terrorism operations, stepping up surveillance in both urban centers and border zones. Authorities affirmed that any attempt to disrupt national stability would be met with decisive action.
