Karachi, May 13, 2025: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has ordered immediate action following a complaint from Transparency International Pakistan (TIP) highlighting alleged irregularities in the province’s health sector.

The directive, issued on May 9, came in response to a letter received by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on May 7, urging scrutiny and legal action under applicable laws, rules, and policies.

Shah marked the communication for “necessary action,” instructing authorities to investigate the matter and report progress back to the CM Secretariat.

Sources indicate that TIP had sent similar letters to all provincial chief ministers. However, Sindh is the only province so far to respond formally with a directive for action.
