Islamabad, June 14, 2025: A high-level meeting was held at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Headquarters on Friday to review and advance healthcare services in the federal capital, particularly for CDA employees. The meeting was chaired by Chairman CDA, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, and Director General Civil Defense, Muhammad Ali Randhawa.

Also in attendance were Member Administration, Member Finance, and other senior CDA officials.

The meeting focused on upgrading medical facilities for the citizens of Islamabad, with a special emphasis on services for CDA staff and their families. Discussions included improvements in emergency care, outpatient services, patient management, and laboratory diagnostics.

Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized that strengthening the city’s healthcare infrastructure remains a top priority. “Our aim is not only to provide world-class medical facilities to CDA employees and their families, but also to extend quality healthcare to the general public of Islamabad,” he stated.

He added that ongoing initiatives in the health sector are essential for meeting the increasing medical demands of the city’s growing population. “Improved healthcare will directly enhance service delivery and ensure citizens have access to modern medical technology and treatments,” he noted.

Randhawa reaffirmed that the welfare of CDA staff, particularly through better healthcare access, is at the core of the authority’s agenda. He acknowledged that while existing resources are being fully utilized, continuous efforts are needed to further elevate service standards.

Concluding the meeting, the Chairman reiterated that planned upgrades in CDA’s healthcare infrastructure will not only benefit its workforce but also play a key role in improving overall healthcare access for residents of Islamabad.
