Islamabad, June 30, 2025: Citizens have lauded the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for its efficient arrangements and citizen-friendly reforms at the One-Window Facilitation Center, especially on the final day for clearing outstanding dues.
The initiative, taken on the directives of Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and supervised by CDA Member Estate Talat Mehmood and Member Finance Tahir Naeem, received widespread appreciation for introducing digitized systems, cashless payments, and extended operational hours to facilitate the public.
Visitors praised the modern digital infrastructure, transparent procedures, and the professional conduct of the staff, stating that these reforms have significantly simplified the payment process for charges including property dues, development fees, water bills, and installment payments for residential and commercial plots.
In line with the chairman’s directions, the One-Window Center remained operational from 9:00 AM to 12:00 midnight on June 30, offering citizens ample time to settle their dues. Citizens expressed hope that such public-centric initiatives would continue in the future to enhance service delivery and convenience.
The CDA has warned that strict action will be taken against defaulters who failed to clear their dues by the midnight deadline. Penalties may include heavy fines, cancellation of property allotments or leases, and even auction of defaulted properties. Additionally, the names of defaulters may be published in newspapers, potentially harming their reputation as per legal provisions.
Citizens are strongly urged to ensure timely payment of all dues to avoid legal and financial consequences. For assistance, they may contact CDA Headquarters or relevant offices.
