Islamabad, August 24, 2025: The 11th National Finance Commission (NFC) Award meeting will be held on August 29, with the federal government scheduled to present financial data to the provinces.

The session follows President Asif Ali Zardari’s formal approval of the commission earlier this week, after which the Ministry of Finance issued an official notification. A committee of federal ministers has already chalked out the strategy for the upcoming award.

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb will chair the nine-member commission, which includes the finance ministers of all four provinces. Each province will also be represented by an expert member: Nasir Mahmood Khosa (Punjab), Dr. Asad Saeed (Sindh), Dr. Musharraf Rasool (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), and Dr. Farmanullah (Balochistan).
