Mumbai, October 11, 2024: Today marks the 82nd birthday of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, and fans across the globe are celebrating the life and career of the actor who has been synonymous with Indian cinema for over five decades. From heartfelt tributes to star-studded wishes, the occasion is being observed with great enthusiasm.

Known as the “Shahenshah of Bollywood,” Amitabh Bachchan has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. Born in 1942 in Allahabad (now Prayagraj), Bachchan rose to fame in the early 1970s with iconic roles in films like Zanjeer, Sholay, and Deewar. His portrayal of the “Angry Young Man” of Indian cinema resonated with audiences, and his versatile acting has since spanned a wide range of genres, earning him countless accolades.

On the eve of his birthday, fans gathered outside his residence, Jalsa, in Mumbai, as they do every year, hoping to catch a glimpse of the star. Bachchan, known for his humility and connection with his admirers, greeted the crowd with folded hands, thanking them for their continued love and support. In a heartfelt message, Bachchan took to social media, expressing gratitude to his fans and reflecting on his journey. “It has been a long and blessed journey, and I owe it all to my fans and well-wishers,” he said.
