Washington, D.C., November 24,2025: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, met today with a group of emerging Pakistani entrepreneurs currently in the United States under the Professional Fellows Program on Economic Empowerment 2025.

The cohort, comprising young professionals from the IT, artificial intelligence, and modern business management sectors—briefed the ambassador on their areas of expertise and shared insights from their stay in Oklahoma, including engagements with American industry counterparts.

Congratulating the participants on being selected for the prestigious program, Ambassador Sheikh noted the positive momentum in Pakistan–US relations. He underscored the growing complementarities between the two countries, especially in the “new economy,” digital innovation, and technology-driven sectors.

Highlighting Pakistan’s competitive strengths, the ambassador pointed to the expanding demand in the US market, Pakistan’s large pool of tech-savvy youth, and the country’s cost and quality advantages—factors that, he said, make collaboration between the two sides mutually beneficial.

Ambassador Sheikh encouraged the fellows to leverage their US experience by expanding their professional networks, promoting knowledge exchange, and identifying new avenues of bilateral cooperation. Their role, he emphasized, would be crucial in strengthening people-to-people ties and supporting future economic partnership initiatives.
