Rawalpindi, December 1, 2025: Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Monday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on reviewing the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Egypt, with particular emphasis on defence and security cooperation, military-to-military engagements, training collaborations, and regional peace and stability.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening institutional coordination and enhancing long-standing strategic ties across multiple domains.
The Egyptian foreign minister conveyed warm greetings from Egypt’s leadership and reiterated Cairo’s strong interest in expanding its partnership with Pakistan in all areas of mutual benefit.
The two dignitaries also underscored the significance of sustained high-level exchanges to address emerging challenges amid evolving regional security dynamics.
