Islamabad, January 1, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday chaired a detailed briefing session in preparation for his upcoming visit to China, where he will co-chair the 7th Pakistan–China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue.
During the session, the Foreign Secretary, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Beijing, and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) provided updates on preparations, the tentative programme, and the agenda for the Dialogue.
Senator Dar emphasised the pivotal importance of Pakistan-China relations and instructed officials to focus on outcomes that would meaningfully advance the countries’ All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
