Ishaq Dar, UAE FM discuss regional situation in phone call

Islamabad, January 3, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation from Beijing with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Saturday.

During the call, the two leaders exchanged views on the prevailing regional situation and expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory and improving conditions across the region.

Senator Ishaq Dar appreciated the role of dialogue and diplomacy, noting that sustained engagement has led to tangible and positive outcomes on the ground. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued consultation and cooperation on regional and international issues of mutual interest
