Islamabad, January 8,2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Bangladesh’s Adviser for Foreign Affairs, Md Touhid Hossain, to review bilateral relations and discuss recent regional developments.

According to official sources, the two counterparts exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

They also appreciated the timely convening of the Extraordinary Session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers, scheduled to be held on January 10, 2026, in Jeddah, to deliberate on pressing issues facing the Muslim world.
