Jeddah, January 10, 2026: Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, has arrived in Jeddah from Madinah to participate in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Extraordinary Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) meeting and inaugurate the new chancery building of the Pakistan Consulate.
He was received upon arrival by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, officials from the Saudi Royal Protocol, and Pakistan’s Deputy Consul General along with consular staff.
During his visit, Senator Ishaq Dar is expected to engage with fellow OIC member states on key regional and global issues while formally inaugurating the upgraded consulate facilities in Jeddah, reflecting Pakistan’s strengthened diplomatic presence in the Kingdom.
