The inauguration featured the raising of the Pakistani flag, a tree-planting ceremony on the chancery lawn, ribbon cutting, plaque unveiling, and prayers for the welfare of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. A short video presentation highlighted the features of the new facility.

In his remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah and Saudi authorities for their support in making the project a reality. After touring the building and its facilities, Senator Ishaq Dar expressed satisfaction with the project and authorized the prompt transfer of operations and consular services to the new chancery.
