Islamabad, January 16, 2026: The National Defence University (NDU) Pakistan on Friday hosted the Royal Danish Defence College (RDDC) for a joint roundtable seminar focused on emerging dynamics shaping global security.
The two-day seminar brought together researchers and practitioners from both sides to examine how geo-economics, connectivity, and evolving defence strategies are influencing the international security landscape. The discussions built on a strong institutional partnership of more than a decade between NDU and RDDC, during which the two institutions have developed mutual trust while engaging on a wide range of contemporary security themes.
The Danish Ambassador to Pakistan, Maja Mortensen, actively participated in the programme, delivering a keynote address and engaging in in-depth discussions. She also held a bilateral meeting with NDU President Lt Gen Babar Iftikhar, further underscoring the growing academic and defence cooperation between Pakistan and Denmark.
