Islamabad, January 17, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation today with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, discussing the current situation in Iran and regional stability.
The call comes against the backdrop of ongoing unrest in Iran, where widespread anti-government protests have taken place amid severe economic distress, a nationwide internet blackout, and a significant security crackdown.
