Islamabad, January 22, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday met Ms. Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ongoing Pakistan–ICRC cooperation across a range of humanitarian and development-related areas. They also exchanged views on further strengthening collaboration on issues of mutual interest, with an emphasis on humanitarian principles and support for vulnerable communities.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continued engagement and cooperation, highlighting the importance of sustained partnership between Pakistan and the ICRC in addressing humanitarian challenges at both national and regional levels.
