Islamabad, January 26, 2026: Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to Pakistan, Fred Senevirathane, on Monday officially inaugurated the 88th branch of LOLC Micro Finance Ltd. in Bara Kahu, Islamabad, marking a significant milestone for the company.

The new branch also represents the LOLC Group’s entry into Shariah-compliant banking in Pakistan with the launch of “LOLC Islamic,” the company’s first dedicated Islamic microfinance branch in the country.

A part of a leading Sri Lankan financial services group, LOLC Micro Finance Ltd. now operates 78 branches nationwide in Pakistan, reflecting its growing global presence and commitment to inclusive financial development.
