Islamabad, January 30, 2026: Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan Frederico Silva on Friday paid a visit to Maroof International Hospital (MIH), where he was briefed on the hospital’s facilities and future plans for collaboration.
The ambassador toured the Silver Oaks building and the hospital’s sports and recreational facilities, gaining an overview of MIH’s healthcare infrastructure and patient services. He was received and guided by Mr. Naseer Ahmed, Chairman MIH, Mr. Haroon Naseer, Chief Executive Officer, and Dr. Mir Abdul Waheed, Medical Director.
During the visit, discussions focused on potential areas of cooperation with Portuguese entities, particularly in healthcare services, medical technology, and institutional partnerships.
