Russian Embassy condemns Islamabad attack, expresses condolences to victims

Islamabad, February 6, 2026: The Embassy of Russia in Pakistan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Khadija Tul Kubra mosque in Islamabad, which resulted in the loss of dozens of innocent lives.

In a statement, the embassy expressed solidarity with the victims and their families. “Our hearts go out to the families and friends of the victims. We wish a speedy recovery to all those injured,” it said.

The statement underscores Russia’s strong opposition to terrorism and reiterates support for Pakistan during this tragic incident.
