Islamabad, February 6, 2026: The Embassy of China in Pakistan expressed deep sorrow over the deadly explosion at Imambargah Khadijah al-Kubra in Islamabad, which resulted in multiple deaths and injuries.
In an official statement, the embassy extended “heartfelt condolences to the deceased victims” and conveyed “sincere sympathies to their families,” while wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
“We stand firmly with our Pakistani brothers and sisters in this difficult time,” the statement added, reaffirming China’s solidarity with Pakistan in the face of terrorism.
