Azerbaijan FM calls Ishaq Dar, offers condolences over Islamabad blast

Islamabad, February 7, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.

Foreign Minister Bayramov conveyed condolences on behalf of the President, government, and people of Azerbaijan over the victims of the Islamabad blast, offering prayers and expressing solidarity with Pakistan.

Strongly condemning the attack, Senator Dar reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to combat the menace of terrorism in all its forms.

The two leaders also exchanged views on current regional and international developments of mutual interest and reaffirmed the enduring partnership between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
