Islamabad, Sept 8, 2026: Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan Dr. Oumer H. Oba held a meeting with Managing Director and CEO of Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC), Jahangir Piracha, to explore opportunities for strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed promising avenues for collaboration in agriculture, fertilizer production and food processing sectors.
Ambassador Oumer briefed the FFC chief on Ethiopia’s ongoing economic reforms and attractive investment incentives, highlighting the potential for greater engagement between Pakistani and Ethiopian businesses.
The Ethiopian envoy also invited Jahangir Piracha to visit Ethiopia to explore untapped investment and business opportunities across various sectors of the Ethiopian economy.
The meeting underscored the potential for enhanced private-sector linkages and mutually beneficial economic cooperation between Pakistan and Ethiopia.
