Islamabad, February 10, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq held delegation-level talks with Rosan Roeslani, Indonesian Minister for Investment and Downstream Industry and CEO of Indonesia’s Sovereign Wealth Fund (Danantara), focusing on strengthening Pakistan-Indonesia economic and investment cooperation.
The discussions reviewed potential collaboration opportunities, mutually beneficial projects, and the exchange of best practices, with priority sectors including health. Presentations were made by the Ministry of Finance, the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), and the Board of Investment (BOI), highlighting Pakistan’s investment landscape, priority sectors, and facilitation mechanisms. The Indonesian delegation shared insights on sovereign wealth fund structures and downstream investment expertise.
Senator Dar reaffirmed the shared commitment to longstanding bilateral relations built on mutual respect and cooperation, emphasizing that mutual investment can serve as a key catalyst for the Pakistan-Indonesia partnership.
The meeting was attended by the Minister for Health, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, Chairman Board of Investment, National Coordinator SIFC, Secretary Finance, Acting Foreign Secretary, and other senior officials.
