Dar, Bangladesh FM discuss regional situation, bilateral cooperation

Islamabad, March 11, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, Khalilur Rahman, to discuss the evolving regional situation and matters of mutual interest.

During the conversation, the two leaders expressed concern over the rapidly developing situation in the Middle East and the wider region, and its potential implications for regional peace and stability as well as broader global consequences.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh. They also agreed to maintain close engagement to advance bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

acThe discussion underscored the importance of dialogue and coordinated efforts to address emerging regional challenges.
