Islamabad, March 23, 2026: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday held a telephonic conversation with Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss the evolving regional situation.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, the two leaders reviewed recent developments, including the announcement by the US President regarding a temporary halt in hostilities.
During the discussion, Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement to promote peace and stability in the region and beyond. Both sides emphasized the need for continued dialogue amid ongoing tensions.
The two foreign ministers agreed to remain in close contact and coordinate closely on the evolving situation.
