Bangkok, March 30, 2026: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Thailand, Rukhsana Afzaal, held a meeting with Pennapa Kanchana, Inspector General of Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, to explore avenues for expanding academic collaboration.
During the meeting, both sides discussed a range of initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between Pakistani and Thai universities, with a focus on enhancing institutional linkages and knowledge exchange.
Particular emphasis was placed on collaboration in emerging and specialized fields, including Halal studies, science and technology, artificial intelligence, and big data.
The discussions reflected a shared commitment to promoting academic partnerships and fostering innovation-driven cooperation between the two countries.
