Dubai, November 5,2026: Pakistan all-rounder Arafat Minhas has been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for October 2026 after an impressive showing in the home ODI tri-series.
Minhas played a key role in Pakistan’s title-winning campaign, taking nine wickets and scoring 149 runs in five innings at an average of 29.80. His haul included six wickets against England, while his batting contributions helped Pakistan secure the trophy.
The all-rounder, who made his ODI debut against Australia earlier this year, produced his standout performance against England. He scored a crucial 59 before taking 6 for 40, recording the second-best ODI bowling figures by a Pakistan bowler on home soil.
Minhas continued his strong form in the final against Sri Lanka, striking 61 off 31 balls as Pakistan chased a target of 326 to win the tournament. His contributions earned him the Player of the Series award.
South Africa all-rounder Marco Jansen was also nominated following his performances against Australia in the three-match ICC World Test Championship series, which the Proteas won 2-1.
Jansen scored 85 runs and took six wickets in the second Test at Gqeberha, helping South Africa win by an innings and 31 runs. He added another half-century and three wickets in the deciding third Test as South Africa completed a comeback in the series.
His performances also took him to the top of the ICC Men’s Test All-Rounder Rankings.
West Indies captain Shai Hope completed the nominations after a productive month against India in the ODI and T20I series.
Hope scored an unbeaten 162 in the third ODI in New Chandigarh, guiding the West Indies to a successful chase of 352—their highest successful run chase in the format.
He carried his form into the five-match T20I series, scoring two centuries, including an unbeaten 102 off 50 balls in the fourth match. Hope finished the series with 261 runs at a strike rate of 190.51.
