Lahore, March 30, 2026: The Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday announced disciplinary action against fast bowler Naseem Shah for violating multiple clauses of his central contract and the board’s social media guidelines.

According to the PCB, a show-cause notice was issued to Naseem on March 27, 2026, outlining the alleged breaches and seeking his response. Following submission of his reply, a personal hearing was conducted by a three-member disciplinary committee.

After reviewing the case, the committee found Naseem in breach of contractual obligations and imposed a fine of Rs20 million, while also taking note of his unconditional apology.

The board further stated that Naseem has already terminated his social media adviser, who will now be blacklisted by the PCB from working with any player under its jurisdiction.

Reaffirming its stance, the PCB said it remains committed to maintaining professional standards, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and upholding the integrity of the game.
