Dateline: Islamabad, April 1, 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Wednesday felicitated the newly elected office bearers of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS), extending his best wishes for their tenure.
In his congratulatory message, the Speaker congratulated Sarmad Ali on his election as President, along with Naz Afreen Sehgal Lakhani as Senior Vice President, Shahab Zuberi as Vice President, Muhammad Athar Qazi as Secretary General, Mohsin Bilal as Joint Secretary, and Naveed Kashif as Finance Secretary, as well as other members of the newly elected governing body.
The Speaker noted that the success of the new leadership reflects the strong confidence of APNS members in their capabilities and vision. He expressed optimism that the incoming team would play a vital role in addressing the challenges faced by the newspaper industry.
