Pakistan Embassy in Tokyo hosts community event; OPF Chairman highlights welfare initiatives

Tokyo, April 1, 2026: The Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo hosted a community engagement gathering for overseas Pakistanis in Tokyo, bringing together members of the Pakistani diaspora.

The event was attended by Chairman Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Syed Qamar Raza Shah as the chief guest.

Addressing the participants, Syed Qamar Raza Shah briefed the community on various initiatives undertaken by the OPF aimed at the welfare and facilitation of overseas Pakistanis and their families.

The Ambassador of Pakistan to Japan appreciated the Chairman’s commitment to the cause of overseas Pakistanis and thanked him for his visit, acknowledging the importance of continued engagement with the diaspora.

The gathering provided an opportunity for interaction between officials and community members, while reinforcing efforts to strengthen ties with Pakistanis living abroad.
