Islamabad, April 6, 2026: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep concern over an incident at Khor Fakkan port in the United Arab Emirates, where an intercepted projectile reportedly caused injuries to several civilians, including Pakistani nationals.

In a statement issued on Monday, the prime minister extended his prayers for the swift recovery of those injured and assured that the Government of Pakistan remains in close contact with UAE authorities to ensure that all necessary assistance is provided to affected Pakistani citizens.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s support, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the country stands in solidarity with the brotherly people of the UAE during this difficult time.

He also underscored the urgent need for restraint and de-escalation in the region, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace and stability.
