Islamabad, April 6,2026: The ambassador of Portugal designate to Pakistan Paulo Domingues celebrated Easter mass in Islamabad together with the Apostolic Nuncio to Pakistan, Archbishop Germano Penemote, from Angola. He opined Our language and our faith, shared in Muslim lands.
The ambassador observed that Pakistan is home to a vibrant Christian community of around 2 to 3 million people, representing a small but deeply rooted minority.
Despite challenges, Christians across the country continue to practice their faith with resilience and devotion, contributing to the rich cultural and religious diversity of Pakistan,the Portugal envoy added.
