Islamabad, April 6, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Canada, Anita Anand, to discuss the evolving regional situation and the urgent need for de-escalation.
During the call, both leaders emphasized the critical role of dialogue and diplomacy in promoting peace and stability across the region. Senator Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to facilitate constructive engagement and foster a secure and stable environment.
