Islamabad, April 10, 2026: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday clarified that visa-free travel for the Islamabad Talks 2026 will be limited to delegates and journalists from participating countries, namely Iran and the United States.

Responding to media queries, the Foreign Office Spokesperson, Tahir Andrabi, stated that the special facility has been granted exclusively for the duration of the high-level diplomatic engagement.

“Pakistan has extended visa-free travel to delegates and journalists from participating nations of Islamabad Talks 2026, i.e., Iran and the USA. This facility, extended for the duration of the talks, does not cover third-country nationals,” the spokesperson said.

The clarification comes amid preparations for the much-anticipated Islamabad Talks 2026, which are aimed at promoting dialogue and advancing efforts toward regional peace and stability.

The initiative underscores Pakistan’s role as a facilitator of diplomacy, reflecting its commitment to constructive international engagement and the peaceful resolution of global conflicts.
