Islamabad, April 22, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to review evolving regional developments and upcoming international engagements.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch along with senior officials of the ministry.
During the session, the deputy prime minister discussed emerging global and regional trends with participants and emphasised the need for proactive engagement on key foreign policy priorities. He stressed maintaining clarity of purpose, strategic foresight, and a strong results-oriented approach in Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts.
The meeting comes as Pakistan navigates a dynamic regional environment and prepares for a series of important international engagements.
