Karachi, April 28, 2026: Islamabad United won the toss and elected to field first against Peshawar Zalmi in the high-stakes Qualifier of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 at the National Bank Stadium on Tuesday.

The contest promises to be closely fought, with both sides evenly matched historically. United and Zalmi have faced each other 27 times in PSL history, with both teams securing 13 wins each, while one match earlier in the ongoing season ended without a result.

Both teams head into the qualifier with strong recent form. Zalmi have suffered just one defeat in their last five completed matches, while United are on a three-match winning streak.

However, Zalmi are coming off a six-wicket loss to defending champions Lahore Qalandars, which snapped their impressive nine-match winning run. In contrast, United enter the clash with momentum, having registered convincing back-to-back victories over Hyderabad Kingsmen and Multan Sultans.

With a place in the final at stake, both teams will be aiming to capitalize on their strengths in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter.
