Islamabad, April 30: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation on Wednesday with Kaja Kallas to discuss the evolving regional situation and its wider economic and strategic implications.
According to the Foreign Office, the European Union’s High Representative appreciated Pakistan’s constructive and facilitative role in promoting regional peace and stability.
During the conversation, Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to encouraging dialogue and engagement aimed at maintaining peace in the region.
The deputy prime minister also welcomed the successful holding of the EU-Pakistan Business Forum in Islamabad, highlighting its importance in deepening bilateral partnerships and creating new opportunities for trade and investment.
Both sides agreed to remain in close contact on regional and bilateral matters of mutual interest.
