Pakistan, Jordan reaffirm commitment to regional peace and diplomacy

Islamabad, May 3, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Sunday held a telephone conversation with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi to discuss the evolving regional situation and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi conveyed Jordan’s deep appreciation for Pakistan’s constructive role and continued efforts in promoting dialogue, peace, and regional stability amid ongoing tensions in the region.

During the conversation, Mohammad Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to encouraging constructive engagement among all parties and supporting peaceful resolution of conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy.

The two leaders also reviewed bilateral relations and underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Jordan at both bilateral and multilateral forums.

The foreign ministers agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on matters of mutual interest and regional importance.
