Islamabad, May 7,2026: Bulgarian Ambassador to Pakistan Irena Gancheva joined the Minister of State for Law and Justice of Pakistan, Barrister Aqeel Malik, as Guest of Honor at the inauguration of a community children’s library (KITAB Project) and tree plantation initiative organized by the DICE Forum at F-9 Park, Islamabad.
The event emphasized the importance of literacy, education, environmental protection, and sustainable development for Pakistan’s future.
The programme also included a visit to Sundus Foundation’s Thalassemia Center, recognizing the vital work being done to support patients, raise awareness, and encourage prevention of this disease in Pakistan.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Gancheva commended the efforts of the DICE Forum for bringing to life such an inspiring initiative.
She highlighted the enduring power of books in shaping minds, strengthening critical thinking, and inspiring personal growth – especially for young generations.
The Ambassador also emphasized that caring for education, health, and the environment are deeply connected responsibilities that can create lasting positive change for all.
