Chairman Senate condemns Bannu terror attack

Islamabad, May 11,2026: Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Fateh Khel Police Station in District Bannu, which resulted in the martyrdom of police personnel.

He paid tribute to the brave police officers who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty and stated that the sacrifices of Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies would never be forgotten. He expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed for the elevation of their ranks and early recovery of the injured.

Chairman Senate said that such cowardly acts cannot weaken the nation’s resolve against terrorism. He reaffirmed that the entire nation stands united with its security institutions in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
