Karachi, May 14: A delegation of young officers from the Pakistan Navy visited the Area Control Center (ACC) at Jinnah International Airport for a familiarization tour aimed at enhancing understanding of civil aviation operations and coordination mechanisms.

During the visit, officials from the Pakistan Airports Authority briefed the delegation on Air Traffic Services (ATS) and the functioning of the Rescue Coordination Center (RCC). The officers were also taken on a tour of the ACC Operations Hall and RCC facilities.

The visit provided the naval officers with valuable insight into civil aviation airspace management, air traffic control systems, and search and rescue coordination procedures.

The delegation appreciated the professional operational environment and modern facilities at the ACC, Jinnah International Airport Karachi.

Officials said the interaction would further strengthen civil-military coordination and promote greater inter-agency cooperation between aviation authorities and the armed forces.
