Islamabad, 14 May 2026: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has conferred the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz upon Naveed Anwar Chaudhry in recognition of his efforts to promote Pakistani exports and strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and the United States.
The award was presented during a special ceremony held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr. The civil award was granted on the recommendation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Naveed Anwar Chaudhry, who serves as President of the Pakistan American Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, was honored for his contributions toward enhancing business relations between Pakistan and the United States, increasing Pakistani exports in the American market, and his community service initiatives.
Earlier this month, Naveed Anwar Chaudhry also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry aimed at promoting bilateral trade, investment, and business cooperation between Pakistan and the United States.
