Karachi, May 14,2026: A brilliant unbeaten half-century by emerging middle-order batter Eyman Fatima guided Pakistan women’s national cricket team to a commanding total against Zimbabwe women’s national cricket team in the second T20I of the three-match series at the National Bank Stadium on Thursday.

After being asked to bat first, Pakistan posted 170/4 in their allotted 20 overs, largely thanks to an unbeaten 78-run partnership for the fifth wicket between Eyman Fatima and Natalia Pervaiz.

Pakistan captain Fatima Sana’s decision to bat first proved effective despite an inconsistent middle phase of the innings.

The home side made a brisk start as opening batters Muneeba Ali and Gull Feroza added 27 runs before Gull was dismissed for nine by Michelle Mavunga in the fifth over.

Pakistan then lost quick wickets, with last match’s centurion Ayesha Zafar scoring four and returning batter Iram Javed making five.

At 46/3 in 7.4 overs, Eyman Fatima joined Muneeba Ali at the crease and helped stabilize the innings through a composed 46-run partnership for the fourth wicket.

Muneeba was eventually dismissed by Lindokuhle Mabhero after scoring 36 off 33 balls, including four boundaries.

Following her departure, Eyman accelerated the innings alongside Natalia Pervaiz as the pair dominated the closing overs.

Eyman remained unbeaten on 79 off just 43 deliveries, smashing 10 fours and four sixes in an aggressive innings. Natalia contributed an unbeaten 24 from 19 balls with the help of three fours.

For Zimbabwe, Precious Marange, Lindokuhle Mabhero, and Michelle Mavunga claimed one wicket each.
