PM Shehbaz condemns Quetta bomb blast, expresses solidarity with Balochistan

Islamabad, May 24, 2026: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the heinous bomb explosion near Chaman Phatak in Quetta, which resulted in the tragic loss of innocent lives and left several others injured.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Prime Minister described the attack as a cowardly act of terrorism and said such incidents could not weaken the resolve of the people of Pakistan.

“We remain steadfast in our determination to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” he said.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the blast.

He further stated that the entire nation stands in solidarity with the people of Balochistan during this difficult time of grief and sorrow.
