Dublin, June 2, 2026: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Ireland hosted a dinner reception in honour of the Pakistan women’s cricket team during their visit to Ireland for a T20 international series.

The event was attended by senior representatives of Cricket Ireland, including its president, officials from Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Department of Justice, members of the Pakistan-Ireland Parliamentary Friendship Group, and representatives of the Pak Irish Cricket Association.

Speaking on the occasion, guests thanked the ambassador for hosting the reception and welcomed the Pakistan team’s visit, describing sporting exchanges as an important avenue for strengthening people-to-people ties between the two countries.
