Kech, November 13, 2024-In a major counter-terrorism success, security forces killed four terrorists, including a high-profile recruiter of suicide bombers, during an intelligence-based operation in Kech District, as confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday.

According to the ISPR statement, the operation was launched following actionable intelligence. After an intense firefight, four terrorists were neutralized, among them Sana, also known as Baru, a key recruiter for the so-called Majeed Brigade, notorious for orchestrating suicide bombings. Sana was wanted by law enforcement agencies for his role as a leading recruiter of suicide bombers in the area.

A large cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists. Security forces have commenced a sanitization operation to clear the area of any remaining threats.

“Security forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart any attempts to undermine the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan,” read the ISPR release.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the successful operation and commended the security forces for their dedication to safeguarding the region.
