Peshawar, November 15, 2024-Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has firmly denied having any political ambitions, emphasizing her sole purpose is to convey her husband’s message. Speaking at her first PTI gathering in Peshawar, she urged party supporters to prepare for a significant demonstration on November 24.

“I have no plans to enter politics. My role is simply to deliver Imran Khan’s message,” she told attendees. Despite challenges in communicating her husband’s directives due to his imprisonment, she reiterated his call for supporters to take to the streets on the designated date.

Bushra Bibi expressed concerns about a potential arrest before the planned mobilization but dismissed any notions of assuming a leadership role in PTI. “Imran Khan is the leader of this party, not me,” she said, underscoring her support for his leadership. To maintain privacy and security, she addressed the gathering from behind a screen, while organizers asked attendees to switch off their mobile phones during her speech.
